The DanceCARE Project is an Erasmus+ initiative designed to improve the well-being of caregivers working with older adults who have long-term care needs. The project focuses on the development and implementation of innovative training programs that integrate Dance Movement Therapy (DMT). By offering participatory experiences and therapeutic methods, DanceCare aims to support caregivers emotionally and physically, reducing burnout and improving the quality of care provided.
Through collaborations across Europe, the project promotes peer learning and community engagement, helping to create a sense of belonging among caregivers. It also seeks to establish best practices that can be implemented at a national level across EU countries.
